A 4-day follow-up faunal Assessment of Munnar Wildlife division concluded here with noteworthy findings. The survey was conducted as a joint exercise of Munnar Wildlife Division of Kerala forests and Wildlife department and experts from various NGO’s and Institutes from South India. A total of 201 species of butterflies, 175 species of birds and 30 species of odonates were recorded over 4 days. Chinnar topped the Odonate list as well as the Bird and Butterfly lists.
