Chokkanpatty to Gavi stretch of Periyar was surveyed for ants. The 4 member team travelled form Chempakavally –Chokkampatty- Pandiyanthode over 4 days. Report of the species found were included in the ant survey report given to PTR and Kerala Forest Department. Thus marked the end of the Phase I of Ant Surveys of Periyar Tiger Reserve..
